When do I need to replace the tires on my Kia?

While tires do need to be changed about every ten years to provide optimal performance, if you are regularly driving your car they won’t last that long. A better way to gauge when it’s time for new tires is to pay attention to their wear and tread depth. Once you see tearing, ripping or budging on the side wall of your tire or your tread depth reaches 2/32nds of an inch, it’s time to head to your nearest service center for new tires. We like to use a tire tread depth tool and tire wear bars to measure our tires. If you have never measured your tire tread depth before, we have included a handy video that will show you how to use these tools on your tires at home below.
