2017 Orange County Turkey Trot details

The annual Orange County Turkey Trot is a fun, 5K walk-run race. There isn’t too much pressure on the participants, and it is a great way to earn some self-motivation going into the holiday season. This year’s turkey trot is on Thanksgiving morning at 8:00. The race runs until about 10:00 a.m., so runners and walkers shouldn’t have to worry about missing their Thanksgiving meals or football! The 2017 turkey trot will take place just a half hour away from Garden Grove in Irvine. Runners will start at 5500 Irvine Center Drive.

Registration ends on November 20. Get signed up!

All participants in the 5K will receive a custom finisher medal, festive shirt, pumpkin pie at the finish line, refreshments, and access to the on-course aid station. And this is all for only a $35 race fee! Also included in this event is the Gobble Wobble Kids Dash and the Virtual Run. The Gobble Wobble features a 50-yard diaper dash for children three years old and younger, a 100-yard tot trot for four and five-year olds, and two youth races. Six and ten-year olds can run in a quarter-mile race, and eleven and twelve-year olds can run compete in a half-mile run. While the kids who participate will also receive bibs and medals, their races are untimed and completely for fun!
