What technology is inside the 2018 Kia Soul?

SiriusXM Satellite Radio

With every radio station seemingly playing the same four songs over and over again, it can be exhausting looking for new content to listen to in the car. You can use your phone, but that’s just another distraction and safety concern. Use SiriusXM radio integration in the Kia Soul. More than 130 channels (69 are commercial-free) give you a huge variety of all-new music, sports, news, and talk radio options.

Bluetooth wireless connectivity

You can conveniently make and answer phone calls without ever having to pick up your phone or take your hands off the steering wheel. Simply connect your smartphone using the Bluetooth settings and you will hear the person you are calling right through the Soul’s speakers. You can also play music via Bluetooth.

Siri Eyes Free

If you have an iPhone, you know Siri. The ever helpful (but sometimes confused) A.I. companion who lives in your phone. Now she can be in your car, too. A long press on the Soul’s available voice-recognition button is all it takes to get Siri into your cabin.

Steering wheel-mounted controls

Instead of futzing with the knobs and buttons on your dash, keep both hands on the wheel. These standard controls can adjust your radio’s volume and tuning as well as activate voice commands, calling, and air conditioning.
