Step 1: First and foremost, have a check on all the necessary ingredients and their quantity. The major ingredients include 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour, 3/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon clear imitation vanilla extract, 1 cup sour cream, and 2 eggs. Also, make sure to have chocolate buttercream ingredients, vanilla buttercream ingredients, and decorating ingredients.
